Christmas Wrap Up

Christmas is officially over to now it’s time for all of us good girls and boys to share the spoils of our festivities. I will say I was absolutely spoilt this year and I am incredibly grateful to my family for all my gifts. I am incredibly lucky and fortunate to have received these items. This is the best of the bunch and I hope it helps you shop for the crafter in your life or to add to your own wish list.

Embroidery Hoop Stand

I have been wanting one of these for ages but since starting to sew the samples for my embroidery kits, the want has become a need. This stand can hold a larger frame by using the two clamps and it has a little space at the bottom to hold threads and other haberdashery.

Neck Light

This neck light from is amazing! I have been wanting to get something to help with crafting at night or while watching TV and this is perfection. It has two levels of brightness and can be articulated to match my DIY needs. It’s also portable and great for travelling.

Sock Yarn

I know, who has the time to make socks? Apparently, me! This lightweight sock yarn has been great to use, and I am quickly becoming addicted to crocheting socks. They are super fun to make and pretty quick to stitch up.

Scissors and Snips

I received two pairs of beautiful snips from my Mum this year. One also has a matching measuring tape. I always have lots of different projects on the go so extra snips are always welcome. I keep a pair with each project to save time.

Online Classes

I have been wanting to upskill in several areas and online self-paced classes are brilliant. This year I received a bundle of classes from Domestika.

Hand Made Gifts

For the last few years, I have made my cousin something handmade to open on Christmas morning. This year she made me this gorgeous tote bag! There is something so special about receiving something handmade. I think it the time put into it and thought. You really must think about the recipient because you are making it custom for them.
